  • Fabricate parts and components as needed with welding machines and oxy-acetylene torches.
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections of equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor servicing of welding equipment and supplies.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently cut, lay out, fit, and weld sheet metal and other metals or alloys to fabricate or repair equipment

  • Fabricate parts and components as needed with welding machines and oxy-acetylene torches
  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections of equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor servicing of welding equipment and supplies
  • Uphold company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety regulations at all times, including the use of PPE
  • Maintain a professional, positive attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and clients
  • Consistently demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical education or certificate in welding and fitting preferred
  • Valid state-approved welding certification preferred (not required)
  • Experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK welding methods
  • Proficient with a range of welding tools, including grinders, generators, drill presses, lathes, punches, shears, and band saws
  • Strong understanding of various metals and alloys
  • Ability to read blueprints, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
  • Effective communicator in one-on-one and group settings
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods
  • Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) is a plus
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to work in environments with noise, fumes, gases, dust, and temperature extremes
  • Regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection
  • Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts and machinery
