Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a warehouse team member to support general warehouse operations in Cheyenne, WY. You will assist with receiving freight, stocking inventory, and delivering materials to support life safety installations.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to operate or repair basic tools and equipment, with a focus on accurate records and following directions. This is an on-site, full-time position with room to grow in a leading fire and life safety company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a team or independently.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to use or repair small/light equipment such as power tools, ladders, medium equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• General warehouse operations.
• Receiving freight, operating a forklift, and stocking the warehouse.
• Perform all inventory counts and maintain inventory stock levels.
• Check in orders and stock all inventory items.
• Trailer towing competency — Demonstrates skill in pulling, backing, and accurately placing trailers using company vehicles.
• Stocking and delivering materials.
• Keep shop organized and clean.
• Maintain, clean, and organize all shop tools.
• Maintain equipment and tools necessary to safely perform job.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
