Job summary

Porsche Annapolis, part of Johnson Automotive, is looking for a dependable Service Shop Attendant to support our Service Department and keep the shop organized. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean tool room, checking in/out dealership tools, and assisting technicians while following safety guidelines.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with basic computer skills and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Automotive, maintenance, warehouse, tool room, or similar experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with hand and automotive tools preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A dependable work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under company standards.
• Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly tool room.
• Check dealership-owned tools and specialty equipment in and out as needed.
• Help maintain an accurate inventory of tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing components and report concerns to management.
• Clean and perform basic upkeep of tools and equipment.
• Organize and properly store tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Assist technicians in locating specialty tools and shop equipment.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized shop and storage areas.
• Move, park, stage, and retrieve customer and dealership vehicles as directed.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and organizing shop supplies and equipment.
• Perform basic shop and facility upkeep as assigned.
• Provide general support to Service Department management and team members.
• Follow all company safety and vehicle-operation procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed to support Service Department operations.
