Job summary

Aggreko in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Technician 1 Temp Control-Shop to join our service center. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.

You may work alone or with other technicians, troubleshoot shop equipment, and travel to sites if needed. This full-time role offers overtime potential, a competitive hourly wage, and hands-on training.

Qualifications

High School diploma/GED is required.
4+ years of experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements; reading schematics.
May require TWIC card or valid DOT medical card depending on customer requirements.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to move or lift objects up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Based out of our Santa Fe Springs, CA service center.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment and/or oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop.
Work solo or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment in the shop.
