Job summary

Connect Rentals is seeking a maintenance technician to operate in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to integrity and ongoing improvement.

You will diagnose and repair equipment, safely operate machines, and document all service activities. The role requires team collaboration, attention to safety, and timely completion of tasks. A clean driving record is preferred, with the ability to lift and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Safely operate and inspect machines, vehicles, and engines to diagnose defects.
• Remove and install components following service manuals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, hydraulics, fuel systems, and electrical codes.
• Document work performed on equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with coworkers and assist technicians when needed.
• Complete tasks promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Safely and properly operate and inspect machines, vehicles, and/or engines to diagnose defects.
• Must be capable of removal and installation of components by following the appropriate service manual.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all components of equipment including but not limited to engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes.
• Work well with co-workers and assist other technicians when needed.
• Provide timely work on each job to ensure satisfaction.
• Formally document the work done on the equipment.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Additional Requirements

• Must own and maintain the necessary tools to efficiently perform the job
• Must have a clean driving record & valid Driver's License
• Must pass pre-employment drug test

Physical Requirements

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement. Must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Must have the ability to sit, stand, lay on ground, bend over, and move intermittently
