Job summary

Connect Rentals is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment, with emphasis on engines, hydraulics, and power systems.

You’ll install components following service manuals and document every service activity. Ideal candidates own the necessary tools, have a clean driving record, and pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Must own and maintain the necessary tools to efficiently perform the job.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid Driver's License.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Safely and properly operate and inspect machines, vehicles, and/or engines to diagnose defects.
• Remove and install components by following the appropriate service manual.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with co-workers and assist other technicians when needed.
• Provide timely work on each job to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document the work performed on equipment in a formal log.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Work well with co-workers and assist other technicians when needed.

Provide timely work on each job to ensure satisfaction.

Formally document the work done on the equipment.

Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Physical Requirements
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement. Must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Must have the ability to sit, stand, lay on ground, bend over, and move intermittently
