Job summary

Roland Machinery Co., a family-owned dealer established in 1958, is seeking a Regular Full Time Heavy Equipment Technician in DeForest, WI. The role focuses on servicing and repairing construction, municipal, and highway equipment, including diesel engines and hydraulic/electrical systems.

You will troubleshoot, perform hands-on repairs, and maintain a high standard of customer service while supporting a broad product line from leading manufacturers. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required; trade school or direct industry experience highly desired.
• Minimum of two years' full-time heavy equipment experience; this is not a maintenance position.
• Must possess a clean driving record; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains relationships with clients by providing service, support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending solutions.
• Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competition.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Troubleshooting, repairs and reconditioning of construction, municipal and highway related heavy equipment and related components.
• Present a favorable company image in appearance, language, personal conduct, and while operating a company vehicle.
• Large Diesel Engine repair and servicing.
• Construction Equipment Hydraulic systems repair and servicing.
• Construction Equipment Electrical systems repair and servicing.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Possess a respectable set of hand tools to perform the hands-on responsibilities of the position
