Location: 12326 Cutten Rd, Houston TX, 79907
Pay: Hourly Pay of $25 or More (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexibility - available for evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

The Shop Pump Technician / Diesel Mechanic plays a critical role in inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel-powered pumps and fluid-handling equipment. This senior-level position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you'll ensure equipment is always job-site ready and customer expectations are exceeded.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and pump equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools, testing equipment, and mobile diagnostics.
Perform preventative maintenance and detailed repairs on pumps, engines, and components.
Set up and test pump systems to ensure proper performance.
Maintain accurate service records and reports.
Follow company safety policies and proper PPE protocols at all times.
Communicate with managers and team members to prioritize work orders and customer needs.
Assist with equipment setup and support field teams as needed.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
Advanced mechanical aptitude with experience in diesel engines and pump systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset.
Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Technical degree or vocational certificate a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
Welding experience is a plus.
Must own essential hand tools for daily service and repairs.
Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
Prior experience with pump repair, diesel mechanics, or related field work strongly preferred.
