Job summary

Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is seeking a full-time Technician based in Fenton, MI. The role requires handling maintenance, repair, and operation of industrial coating equipment, reporting to the Lead Technician, and traveling as needed to support job requirements.

Strong mechanical aptitude and a track record of reliability are essential. Flexibility to multitask, good communication, and ability to work in a team are important.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and detail-oriented.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team.
• Ability to take directions from Lead Technician and adapt to schedule changes.
• Regular travel is required and a Chauffeur’s License or CDL is required.
• Mechanical experience with pumps and pressurized systems.
• Motor Vehicle Record must be clean with no accidents or points.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and maintain blast pots, paint pumps, and related equipment.
• Accurately document repair and maintenance orders.
• Diagnose equipment issues and provide on-site support.
• Drive company vehicle(s) and support job needs.
• Inventory repair parts and maintain workspace.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.

Summary Of Position

Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is looking for a full-time Technician that will be based out of our Fenton, MI location. Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and be able to multitask. This person will report to the Lead Technician and will support business operations. This position will require regular overnight(s) travel and on-site work supporting job needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and maintain blast pots, paint pumps, and a variety of other equipment such as small engine (gas & electric), vehicles, ATV’s, golf carts, etc.
• Accurately document repair and maintenance orders for equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues.
• On-site equipment support and service.
• Inventory of repair parts.
• General warehouse housekeeping and maintenance.
• Follow established procedures.
• Will drive company vehicle(s).

Required Qualifications
