Job summary

Niles Industrial Coatings, LLC is seeking a full-time Technician based in Peoria, IL. This role reports to the Lead Technician and supports business operations, with potential overnight travel and on-site work to meet job needs.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, multitask effectively, and have solid mechanical experience. CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one; clean MVR; capable of driving company vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must be detail and accuracy oriented.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to take directions from the Lead Technician.
• Must be able to adjust to schedule changes and accommodate as needed.
• Regular travel may be required.
• Chauffer’s License or CDL preferred or willing to obtain one.
• Mechanical experience with pumps/pressurized systems.
• Must have a Motor Vehicle Record cleared with no accidents, moving violations or points.

Responsibilities

• Test, repair, and maintain blast pots, paint pumps, and a variety of other equipment such as small engine (gas & electric), vehicles, ATV’s, golf carts, etc.
• Accurately document repair and maintenance orders for equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues.
• On-site equipment support and service.
• Inventory of repair parts.
• General warehouse housekeeping and maintenance.
• Follow established procedures.
• Will drive company vehicle(s).
