Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Shop Support Technician to join our maintenance team in our Carthage location. In this role, you will be the primary person responsible for ensuring our fleet and heavy equipment are clean, operational, and ready for the field. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and taking pride in maintaining high-value equipment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Power Washing: Perform thorough high-pressure washing and degreasing of heavy machinery, vehicles, and tools to remove dirt, grease, and debris.
• Shop Maintenance: Assist in keeping the shop environment organized, safe, and free of hazards.
• Inspection Support: Conduct basic visual inspections of equipment during the cleaning process to identify leaks, cracks, or damage and report them to the Foreman.
• Inventory & Logistics: Assist with moving equipment around the yard and staging machinery for upcoming projects.
• Fluid Management: Check and top off essential fluids (oil, coolant, fuel) as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience: This is an entry level role. Previous experience in power washing, detailing, or general shop labor is preferred but not required—we will train the right candidate.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to following safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a valid driver’s license.
