S.M. Hentges & Sons Inc is seeking a dependable Pressure Washer / Shop Helper to join our Equipment team. The role supports highway and heavy civil construction operations by keeping equipment clean, safe, and field-ready.

You will assist mechanics, maintain shop areas, and operate basic equipment with training provided. Qualifications include lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors in various weather, reliable attendance, and a valid driver’s license.

• Follow all company safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows directions well, and doesn’t mind getting dirty in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule & Hours

• Full-time position.
• Typical workdays fall Monday through Friday; occasional evening or weekend availability may be requested for special tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with pressure washing, shop work, or construction equipment preferred but not required—will train the right person.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required (CDL a plus).
• Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed.
