Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The Role:
The automotive technical college is seeking an Evening Shop Supervisor to oversee the evening shift in a busy automotive training shop. This role involves managing a team of future technicians, instructors, and maintaining equipment, ensuring safety and organization.

This position requires leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and team management.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Managing the shop floor operations efficiently
• Supporting faculty, resolving issues, and maintaining a productive environment
• Enforcing safety standards
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring proper tool and equipment maintenance
• Training and mentoring staff and students
• Reporting performance and issues to leadership
• Diagnosing vehicle issues
• Handling unexpected situations professionally

The Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma required; degree preferred
• Experience in shop or manufacturing environments with leadership skills
• Fluent in technical and managerial communication
• Problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Willingness to work long hours and perform hands-on tasks
• Computer literacy for reporting and communication
