Job summary

HTX Material Handling in Houston is seeking a Shop Service Technician to maintain and repair forklifts and material handling equipment, including Linde and Baoli brands. You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and perform planned maintenance with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical training.
• 2-5 years of repair/maintenance experience on industrial equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Basic computer knowledge including use of PCs, tablets, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand electrical and hydraulic system schematics.
• Repair major system components including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, LPG systems, power steering, transmissions, and engines with limited supervision.
• Identify and order all necessary replacement parts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose most truck components.
• Perform engine tune-ups on most makes of equipment without supervision.
• Perform proper PM’s in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical systems on IC and electric trucks.
• Use and maintain tools properly and assist with training apprentices.
