HTX Material Handling in Houston seeks a Shop Technician Apprentice, an entry-level role with hands-on forklift maintenance training and a clear growth path to Forklift Technician I.

You will gain experience in routine maintenance, repairs, safety compliance, and cross-department support while working in our Texas workshop. This position offers comprehensive training, benefits, and a path to certification through manufacturer programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Undergo hands-on training in forklift maintenance and basic diagnostics.
• Assist experienced technicians with routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and progress.
• Adhere to safety standards and workshop protocols.
• Support Parts, Sales and Rental departments as needed.
