Job summary

Luby Equipment LLC is seeking a Shop Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop, specializing in custom solutions for complex applications and equipment maintenance.

You will perform diagnostics, field maintenance scheduling, and complete documentation while upholding OSHA safety standards and quality control across services and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience servicing and maintenance of construction equipment.

• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of,activelypractice, and promote safe working conditionsin accordance withOSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed tomaintainaccuraterecords on equipment and preventative maintenance.
