Luby Equipment seeks a Shop Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop, with focus on custom solutions for critical and complex applications and related accessories.

The role requires diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, documenting service activities, and maintaining schematics knowledge while upholding OSHA safety standards. This position is based in Missouri and involves close teamwork.

• Read and understand schematics accurately.
• Promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Prepare reports to maintain accurate records on equipment and maintenance.

Summary: Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, and repair of construction equipment and associated accessories.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of,activelypractice, and promote safe working conditionsin accordance withOSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed tomaintainaccuraterecords on equipment and preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience servicing and maintenance of construction equipment.
