Job summary

Luby Equipment is seeking a Shop Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop and support custom solutions for critical applications. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document service activities in our systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment failures in-house, performing scheduled maintenance, reading schematics, and upholding OSHA safety standards while delivering quality repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience servicing heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Commitment to safe operating practices per OSHA standards.

Summary: Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, and repair of construction equipment and associated accessories.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of,activelypractice, and promote safe working conditionsin accordance withOSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed tomaintainaccuraterecords on equipment and preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience servicing and maintenance of construction equipment.
