Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery in San Angelo, TX is seeking John Deere Service Technicians. Candidates should have strong work ethic, references, and John Deere experience is preferred. We service a range of heavy equipment and offer competitive pay and benefits.

Reports to the Service Manager; duties include diagnosing and repairing equipment, maintaining shop safety, and collaborating with Service, Sales and Parts teams. Employer-paid health, dental, vision and life insurance, 401K and PTO provided.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to use service and parts support programs.
• Ability to create accurate service reports for tasks performed.
• General knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and powertrain components.
• Ability to work efficiently in a shop team environment.
• Willingness to participate in company-paid training.
• Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment.
• Must follow instructions or duties provided by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman to efficiently service or repair machines.
• Applicant must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other brands.
• Rebuild or replace powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps, etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.
• Align with safety compliance per company policy.
• Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools.
• Participate in a positive work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.

Job description

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our San Angelo, Texas location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry.
