Yellowhouse Machinery in Enid, OK is seeking a Shop Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere construction and forestry equipment, along with other major brands.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting powertrains, hydraulics, and electrical systems, rebuilding components, and maintaining a safe, organized shop. Applicants should have strong references, be able to work in a team with Sales and Parts, and possess their own tools; training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to use service and parts programs.
• Ability to create and maintain accurate service reports.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulics and powertrain components.
• Able to work efficiently in a shop team environment.
• Willingness to participate in company paid training.
• Must possess personal hand and pneumatic tools to perform diagnostic, service and repair work on heavy equipment.
• Must pass a physical drug screening and possess a driver's license.

Shop Service Technician

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our Enid, Oklahoma location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry. Reports To: Service Manager

Job Essential Duties:

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.
• Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps etc.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.
• Align with safety compliance per company policy.
• Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.
• Participate in a positive and a relationship building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.
