Job summary

Yellowhouse Machinery in Lubbock, TX is seeking John Deere Service Technicians. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing John Deere and other equipment, rebuilding powertrain/hydraulic systems, and maintaining safety and shop standards.

Experience with John Deere preferred; willingness to participate in training and possess personal tools is required. Applicants must pass drug screening and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience with John Deere equipment preferred and related service experience required.
• Basic computer skills to use service and parts support programs.
• Ability to create accurate service reports for tasks performed.
• General knowledge of troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and power-train components.
• Ability to work efficiently in a shop team environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment and other brands.
• Rebuild or replace powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, valves and pumps.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor on duty.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain shop cleanliness and tool care.
• Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Parts departments.
• Participate in company-paid training as required.

Job description

Yellowhouse Machinery is currently accepting applications for John Deere Service Technicians at our Lubbock, Texas location. Our applicants must exhibit strong work ethic and be able to provide supporting references. John Deere experience is preferred. Related experience required. We service and repair John Deere Wheel Loaders, Backhoes, Motor Graders, Excavators, Crawler Dozers, Articulated Dump Trucks, and many other types of equipment used throughout the construction and agricultural industry. Reports To: Service Manager

Accurately diagnose and repair John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment as well as other various brands of equipment supported by Yellowhouse Machinery.

Rebuild or replace various types of powertrain and hydraulic components including engines, transmissions, axles, control valves, hydraulic pumps etc.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on duty.

Align with safety compliance per company policy.

Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for shop equipment and specialty tools provided.

Participate in a positive and a relationship building work environment alongside coworkers in Service, Sales, and Parts departments.
