Job summary

Luby Equipment LLC is seeking a Shop Service Technician to troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in the shop, focusing on custom solutions for complex applications. You will perform preventative maintenance, read schematics, document service work, and uphold OSHA safety standards while delivering quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of equipment service experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a commitment to safety

• Troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed by his or her supervisor.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and capability in reading and understanding schematics.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of,activelypractice, and promote safe working conditionsin accordance withOSHA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
• Prepare various reports as directed tomaintainaccuraterecords on equipment and preventative maintenance.
