G&W Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Shop Technician for our Atlanta, GA branch to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment in the service shop.

You will perform planned maintenance, rebuilds, and safety inspections while supporting rental, used, and customer-owned equipment. This role emphasizes strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing forklifts or heavy equipment.
• Experience with multiple brands of forklifts preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments.

As a Shop Technician operating out in our Atlanta, GA branch you would be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment within the branch service shop. This role focuses on delivering high-quality repairs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance in a controlled shop environment while supporting rental, used, and customer-owned equipment needs.

Key Responsibilities
