Cumberland International Trucks in Orlando is seeking a Shop Service Foreman to lead day-to-day shop operations and drive high-quality repairs with a customer-first mindset.

You will recruit, coach, and supervise Diesel Technicians, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with staff to ensure efficient service and strong customer relationships. This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a shop service team in a dealership or heavy-duty service setting.
• Ability to recruit, coach, and supervise technicians.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with OEM repair guidelines and service metrics.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring technicians who follow OEM repair guidelines.
• Coaching and mentoring technicians to produce high-quality repairs efficiently.
• Managing service department performance by analyzing efficiencies and gross profit margins.
• Supporting productive staffing, strong customer relationships, and overall operational success.
• Ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Assigning work and supervising Diesel Technicians.
• Serving as a liaison between technicians and customers.
• Taking ownership of the customer experience and ensuring a positive outcome.
• Building strong internal and external relationships through clear, professional communication.

What You’ll Do
