Kodiak Roofing & Waterproofing seeks a Shop & Purchasing Manager to lead our Shop Department, ensuring timely procurement, inventory control, and efficient operations across shop, fabrication, and fleet functions. You will mentor supervisors, build vendor partnerships, and manage budgets to support field operations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost awareness, and process improvement while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in shop operations, purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
• Experience coordinating operations, materials and equipment, purchasing or vendor relationships, and leading employees.
• Construction/roofing industry experience is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• Lead and oversee Shop Department operations including purchasing, inventory, warehouse, fabrication support, delivery, and fleet functions.
• Coach and develop supervisors and staff with clear accountability.
• Manage procurement of materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and resources.
• Develop vendor relationships, negotiate agreements, monitor performance, and find cost savings.
• Maintain inventory controls, replenishment processes, and asset accountability.
• Forecast material, equipment, labor, and fabrication needs with cross-functional partners.
• Manage departmental budgets and expenditures.
• Monitor workflows, quality, safety, and readiness; conduct regular shop and yard walkthroughs.
• Improve procedures and operational controls for efficiency and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations; support strategic initiatives.
