The role involves assisting technicians, keeping the shop clean and organized, and helping with new motorcycle un-crating and equipment stocking. Weekend availability is required.

Qualificações

• Clean driving record to move motorcycles via truck/trailer.
• Motorcycle license required

Responsabilidades

• Help service personnel and keep the Service Department organized and clean.
• Remove trash, cardboard, wood, etc. from dealership.
• Wash and detail motorcycles to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist technicians and other staff in daily tasks.
• Uncrate new motorcycles and help with inventory of batteries.
• Refill oil, electrolyte material or other supplies as needed.
• Maintain general facilities appearance and safe handling of materials.
• Follow all safety requirements when using tools and chemicals in the shop.
• Assist as assigned by management.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Helping Service Personnel
• Removal of trash, cardboard, wood, etc. from dealership.
• Wash and detail Motorcycles as necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist Technicians with keeping the Service Department clean and organized.
• Assist with new motorcycle un-crating.
• Maintain and periodically check inventory of charged motorcycle batteries.
• Re-fill stock of oil, electrolyte material, or other supplies, as needed.
• Clean and maintain appearance of general facilities.
• Ensure proper storing of creating materials.
• Assist Technicians or other dealership personnel, when asked.
• Read, understand, and follow all safety requirements when using tools and chemicals and performing work in the shop.
• Other Duties - As assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to accept and follow directions.
• Demonstrated willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Clean driving record to be able to move and transport motorcycles via truck and trailer.
• Motorcycle license / endorsement required

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Requires the use of both hands.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 50 lb. of material.
• Requires the ability to balance and push an 800+ lb. motorcycle.
• Must be able to safely move units in and out of wash bay.
• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
• Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials in shop.
• Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
