Job summary

Cadillac Of Lubbock is seeking a full-time Shop Porter to help keep our service area clean and organized. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays, and offers a supportive environment under Cavender Auto Family.

You will sweep and clean facilities, manage waste, assist technicians, and uphold safety standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines. A High School Diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with the ability to lift 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sweep technician stalls, service department and body shop floors, showroom, halls and vending areas.
• Clean all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans and vending machines.
• Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing any debris as necessary.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
• Clean oil storage tanks according to procedures.
• Drain and dispose of used oil filters properly.
• Remove any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager.
• Assist technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs.
• Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Other tasks as assigned.
