You will perform deliveries to local job sites, handle basic maintenance on tools and equipment, receive materials, and keep inventory orderly. The role requires a mechanical mindset, forklift experience, and reliability. You’ll work under the Shop Manager, coordinating tasks and ensuring smooth workflow, with opportunities for growth in a well-established mechanical and fire protection contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in a shop environment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to pass a Department of Transportation medical exam.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with computers and multitasking.

Responsabilités

• Perform deliveries to job sites in the Omaha, NE region.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Receive and ship materials; maintain organized inventory.
• Assist in fabrication on pipe for the field.
• Coordinate workflow and tasks during the Shop Manager’s absence.
