Job summary

Motion Industries in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Shop Operations Manager to develop, manage, and deliver shop support services. You will coordinate between customers, sales, shop staff, and distribution to ensure smooth operations and accurate billing.

Responsibilities include managing daily shop activities, training staff on sales systems, handling order processing, pricing, accounts payable/receivable, inventory control, and reporting. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and presentations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all shop support activities at the location.
• Trains staff on sales related systems, databases, and processes.
• Provides customer support including order processing and pricing updates.
• Manages pricing per established policies.
• Handles accounts payable activities and invoice management.
• Prepares reports as needed.
• Assists customers and suppliers to resolve order problems.
• Manages inventory to meet annual goals.
• May fill in for other lower level roles within the shop.
