Job summary

Durango Motor Company is seeking a dependable Shop Support Coordinator to help maintain a clean and organized service department, deliver parts to technicians, and reduce downtime. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and strong teamwork.

Full-time, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, with compensation of $17.00–$19.00 per hour. Hours may vary based on business needs; prior automotive or warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive, warehouse, shop, or labor experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic with a dependable attendance record.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, push, and pull throughout the day.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready service department throughout the day.
• Keep service drives, work areas, and common spaces clean and professional.
• Deliver parts, supplies, and materials to technicians to minimize downtime.
• Return cores and warranty parts while assisting with parts organization.
• Restock shop supplies, fluids, and other essential materials.
• Move guest and dealership vehicles safely throughout the property.
• Organize storage areas, tool rooms, and other shop spaces.
• Remove trash, recycling, scrap materials, and shop debris before they accumulate.
• Respond quickly to manager and technician requests to help improve shop efficiency.
• Support a safe work environment by cleaning spills promptly and keeping walkways clear.
• Assist with special projects and other operational needs as assigned.
