We are seeking a dedicated Shop Mechanic to maintain our fleet, including sweepers, trucks, and support equipment. This mid-level position offers opportunities for advancement and involves preventative maintenance and light repairs of various chassis and up fit configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and light repairs on fleet vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard
• Keep accurate records of repairs
• Assist senior mechanics with complex repairs
• Change tires and conduct basic inspections

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of mechanic experience or recent trade school graduate
• Basic hand tools and toolbox
• Ability to perform chassis PM services and basic repairs
• Valid driver’s license; CDL A or B preferred
• Valid DOT Med Card and DOT Physical (company-paid)
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in a fast-paced setting
