Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Shop Mechanic to repair and maintain a range of vehicles and construction equipment. The role requires independent work, strong teamwork, and clear communication to keep projects on schedule.

You should bring 2–5 years of hands-on experience with trucks and equipment, a valid CDL-style driving record, and basic computer skills. Diesel program completion and welding ability are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility equipment, and trailers
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Able to provide own basic hand tools
• Diesel Mechanic Program completion (desired)
• Ability to weld (desired)
• Ability to move/operate equipment (desired)

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment
• Work independently and on a team, with effective communication
• Contribute to safety and quality in all shop activities
