Job summary

Michels Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic to repair and maintain our fleet of pickup trucks, heavy trucks, and equipment. You will perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacements, working both independently and with a team.

A valid driver license is required and the position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment.
• Keep vehicles and equipment available for use by performing diagnostics and preventive maintenance including engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, and replacing filters.
