Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Shop Mechanic to add to our team in Lockhart, Texas. The successful candidate will provide service to our fleet of heavy equipment. Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently and as a team.

• Ability to utilize various tools, including but not limited to, torque wrenches, pliers, drills, and screwdrivers
• Able to stand, reach, bend, and kneel in awkward and sometimes uncomfortable positions
• Inside Mechanic’s Shop in various weather conditions
• Outdoors in Mechanic’s Yard in various weather conditions

Education and Experience

• Education:High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2 plus years of mechanic background (heavy equipment preferred). Basic understanding of safe work practices.
