Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the "Peace, love and ice cream" culture by greeting customers, offering samples, and demonstrating store pride.
• Following all food safety rules, including dress code and food storage.
• Using POS system and handling cash transactions.
• Availability for late summer nights (past 11pm), weekends, and some holidays.
• Monitoring labor and cost of goods to control expenses.
• Driving sales growth while keeping costs down.

Requirements:

• Work under the District Manager & Scoop Shop Manager to manage shop operations and budget, including sales, margins, payroll, expenses, and inventory.
• Manage a team of 10 to 15 employees.
• Train, orient, and develop shop staff.
• Create a motivating work environment that encourages employee involvement and supports career advancement.
• Implement shop policies and procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions and adherence to operational standards.
• Manage procurement and storage of inventories, including ordering and receiving deliveries.
• Support in-store marketing and local store marketing efforts.
• Maintain store appearance, customer service, cleanliness, safety, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Manage the cake program, including orders, equipment, customer communication, and cake decoration.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely.
