Job summary

Workforce Services is seeking a reliable Shop Maintenance Helper to join our team. The role focuses on keeping the shop clean and organized, managing inventory in parts rooms, and providing data entry support. You may assist mechanics with minor tasks and travel to other shops as needed.

Ideal candidates will have prior maintenance or janitorial experience, physical stamina for lifting, and strong teamwork and communication skills. This position emphasizes safety and efficient task completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or janitorial role preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the shop daily.
• Help mechanics with minor tasks and provide extra hands.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking.
• Follow safety procedures for a safe work environment.
• Communicate with team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Assist with parts/inventory/data entry.
• Drive to other shops to help parts room/inventory.
