Call Your Mother is a Jew-ish deli where Brooklyn vibes meet hearty bagel sandwiches. As Shop Leader in Adams Morgan, you will guide daily shop operations, lead shifts, coach teammates, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience as a Shift Leader, Key Holder, or similar restaurant leadership role.
• Morning person with weekend availability.
• ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Outgoing and hospitality-focused with team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations from opening through closing while maintaining CYM’s high standards.
• Provide clear leadership during assigned shifts to keep service running efficiently.
• Create memorable guest experiences by modeling exceptional hospitality and resolving concerns with care.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members through feedback and hands-on training.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and complete required financial reporting.
• Partner with the General Manager to build a positive, inclusive shop culture.
• Support a clean, safe shop including equipment, storage, and deep cleaning.
