Job summary

Call Your Mother is the Jew-ish deli in Philadelphia where hospitality meets bold flavor. We’re seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for the Rittenhouse location to lead a fast-paced team and ensure every bagel comes out delicious.

You’ll train kitchen staff, partner with the GM to manage performance, and maintain a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen from open to close. Expect growth, strong daily purpose, and a culture that values teamwork.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience leading kitchen teams in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to maintain standards and train new staff.
• Attitude aligned with a positive, hardworking team culture.

Responsibilities

• Train new kitchen staff and continuously re-train to maintain standards.
• Partner with the General Manager to hold team members accountable for punctuality and performance.
• Lead a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen from open to close.
• Maintain equipment and perform weekly deep cleanings.
• Build and prepare high-quality bagels and sandwiches for service.
• Prepare ingredients and set up stations for a smooth service.
• Follow recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality.
• Keep ticket times fast while maintaining quality.
• Keep the kitchen stocked and ready for rushes.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve and adapt to changes.
