Job summary

Call Your Mother Deli in Coral Gables is seeking a Shop Leader to manage daily operations from opening to close, guiding the team with a hands-on leadership style and a focus on delivering hospitality-driven guest experiences.

You will coach staff, ensure food safety and smooth service, and collaborate with management to sustain a fun, positive, and high-performing shop culture. Shift supervision may include Front of House and Kitchen duties.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a restaurant setting.
• Strong hospitality and guest-focused mindset.
• Outgoing and people-oriented with a team-first attitude.
• ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Morning availability on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations from opening through closing.
• Provide leadership during shifts to keep service efficient.
• Create memorable guest experiences with hospitality.
• Coach and develop team members through feedback and training.
• Maintain recipes, checklists, and food safety standards.
• Handle transactions and assist with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to foster a positive shop culture.
• Support Front of House and Kitchen supervision as needed.
