Global Industrial is seeking a proactive Operations Manager to supervise field technicians, drivers, and support staff in a busy shop environment. You will oversee scheduling, maintenance, and repair activities, driving efficiency while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include developing goals for repair, refurb, and rental divisions, coordinating routes for timely deliveries, and producing cost reports.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and evaluate field technicians, drivers, and support staff when operating in the shop.
• Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Assist in developing and implementing goals, objectives, and policies for the repair, refurb, and rental divisions.
• Oversee the scheduling and completion of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Monitor and control repair facility activities.
• Perform mechanical duties and inspections as needed.
• Develop and implement safety, preventive maintenance, and accident prevention programs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule trips, drivers, and routes for timely delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with drivers or trucks.
• Prepare reports on fleet activities, maintenance, and costs.
• Standardize, draft, and implement shop control measures to ensure repeatable, efficient processes.
