Job summary

Aerotek's shop in Sandy, OR is looking for a Shop Helper to support paint preparation, assembly, and grinding in a small, dynamic custom fabrication environment. You will help maintain workflow and assist with production tasks while contributing to a safe, organized shop floor.

The role is contract to hire, onsite from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with comprehensive benefits and a competitive $22.00–$24.00 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing and construction environments.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate sit-down forklifts.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, family-run shop with approximately 40-50 employees, where custom fabrication is key. The day shift runs from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a structured yet adaptable work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandy, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
