Job summary
Qualifications
- Own professional-grade tools and toolbox.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting.
- Experience with diesel-powered equipment and hydraulics.
- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license and physical capability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment in a shop setting.
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, diesel engine, and electrical repairs.
- Complete preventive maintenance and scheduled service inspections.
- Use diagnostic software, service manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Work closely with service leadership and parts teams to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Participate in training to stay current with equipment technology.
