Job summary

STS Technical Services is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks with an emphasis on troubleshooting and compliance with dealership policies. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a CDL license, and knowledge of engines, drivetrains, and brake systems. Qualifications

• Certified in minimum of one big Bore engine.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing various reefer and lift gates.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all fleet equipment including reefer units.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks in compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Accurate completion of repair orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Skills

Knowledge of basic engine and driveline

Knowledge of air, hydraulic, and full power brake systems

Basic computer skills

Knowledge of electrical and electronic testing

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CDL license

Tools

Own hand tools up to 1/2 in. drive
