Job summary

Berglund Ford Mazda in Virginia is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead the repair team while continuing to work on vehicles and earn based on productivity.

This hands-on role partners with the Service Manager to coordinate workflow, diagnose and repair vehicles, and guide technicians to meet manufacturer and dealership standards.

The position offers competitive pay ($65,000–$110,000) and benefits including insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
• Ford Certified status preferred.
• Experience as Shop Foreman or senior technician preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow with the Service Manager to keep repairs moving.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles while turning flat-rate hours.
• Provide hands-on guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians.
• Assist with difficult repairs and diagnostics.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Develop less-experienced technicians.
• Promote an organized, productive, and safe shop.
• Communicate with Service Manager, Advisors, and Parts to resolve issues.
