Job summary

Berglund Ford Mazda is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman who loves hands-on work and can lead the service team while continuing to turn wrenches. You will work with the Service Manager to keep workflow moving, diagnose and repair vehicles, and provide troubleshooting support to technicians.

This role demands strong diagnostic and repair skills, Ford certification preferred, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a shop team and guiding technicians.
• Proven diagnostic and repair proficiency on Ford/Multi-brand vehicles.
• Ford certifications or manufacturer training preferred.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Service Manager to help coordinate workflow and keep repairs moving through the shop.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles while continuing to produce flat rate hours.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians.
• Assist technicians with difficult or complex repairs and diagnostics.
• Help ensure repairs are completed correctly and meet manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Serve as a technical resource for the shop and help develop less-experienced technicians.
• Promote an organized, productive, and safe shop environment.
• Communicate with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, and Parts Department to help resolve repair or workflow issues.
