Job summary

Holman Honda Centennial is seeking a Shop Foreman to supervise technicians, manage certifications, and ensure efficient workshop operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead, coach, and develop the service team, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate with the Service Manager and regional partners to uphold Holman’s standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in the automotive field as a technician.
• Experience in service principles, concepts and service department operations.
• Ability to document repair information and utilize reporting tools.
• Familiarity with warranty policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and assist with the development of technicians in the workshop.
• Monitor and manage OEM certification and Holman training for each technician.
• Maintain inventory and readiness of special tools and equipment.
• Partner with regional TDA to assist with onboarding and career development for technicians.
• Liaise between Service Manager, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts, Technicians and clients.
• Ensure quality control inspections and road tests post repairs.
• Enforce warranty policies and procedures.
• Assign jobs according to skillset and workload.
• Manage team goals, metrics and KPIs.
• Coach, provide feedback and development opportunities within area.
• Assist with employee evaluations and goal setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor and assist with the development of technicians in the workshop
• Monitor and manage OEM certification and Holman training for each technician
• Maintain inventory and readiness of special tools and equipment
• Partner with regional TDA to assist with onboarding and career development for technicians
• Serve as a liaison between the Service Manager, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts personnel, Technicians, Warranty Administration and clients
• Maintain close contact with OEM field technical service support personnel
• Ensure quality control inspections and road tests are completed as applicable post repairs
• Ensure adhesion to warranty policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
• Assign jobs according to technician/team skillset and workload requirements
• Manage team goals, metrics, KPI's, work volume
• Effectively coach, give performance feedback and provide development opportunities within own area of responsibility or department
• Assist with employee evaluations and goal setting

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years’ experience in the automotive field as a technician
• Experienced in service principles, concepts and service department operations
• Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Current ASE Certifications preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record or minimal violations
• Strong computer proficiency, including dealership management systems (DMS), manufacturer service platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to accurately document repair information, track technician performance, and utilize reporting tools to support operational decisions
• Demonstrates adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies, software platforms, and digital service processes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold technicians accountable for productivity, efficiency, quality of work, and adherence to established procedures
• Proven ability to maintain and enforce shop standards, safety requirements, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians through ongoing training, performance feedback, and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to identify performance gaps, address concerns promptly, and drive corrective actions to ensure consistent shop performance
• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $60,800.00 - $86,640.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
