Job summary

Transteck, Inc. operates Freightliner of Lebanon and immediately seeks a 2nd shift Shop Foreman to supervise and motivate our technical staff. The role includes billing out work on Repair Orders, dispatching to technicians, and monitoring shop productivity.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in an automobile or truck service center, some mechanic experience, strong communication, and familiarity with computers. CDK (ADP) experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Shop Foreman position:

Position is directly responsible for supervising, motivating and assisting technical staff. Essential job functions include: billing out work performed on Repair Orders, dispatching work to technicians, monitoring of shop productivity, follow-up with work progress, coordinate parts orders with parts department, etc.

Essential job functions of Shop Foreman include:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in working in an Automobile or Truck Service Center in a supervisory role.
• Be able to work 2nd shift
• Have some experience as a mechanic.
• Have excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with computers.
• We use CDK (ADP) business systems and experience with that system will be a plus.
