Job summary

Transteck, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Parts Counter person for our Freightliner dealership.

In this role you will assist customers in person, by phone, email or online, source parts, provide quotes, and help fulfill orders with accuracy. You should have a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of sales experience; be able to work 2nd shift; and commit to customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work 2nd shift as required.

Responsibilities

• Source parts as needed to fulfill orders.
• Meet sales and gross profit goals.
• Process orders according to dealership procedures.
• Maintain special order parts for service department.
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed.
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent service.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes.
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines.

Description for Parts Counter:

In person/phone/email/online sales

• Source parts as needed for speedy fulfillment
• Meet sales goals and gross profit goals
• Order parts according to dealership procedures
• Maintain special order parts for service department
• Resolve customer problems and maintain excellent customer service
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Ongoing OEM training to stay current with parts changes
• Provide written quotes to customers as needed
• Process core/warranty according to company guidelines
