Job summary

Q2 Artificial Lift Services, LLC is seeking a Pump Shop Technician I in Williston, ND to support shop operations including cleaning, inspecting, assembling rod pumps and oilfield equipment. You will assist with inventory, shipping, and general shop activities, maintaining safety standards and following QA policies.

The role emphasizes on-site execution, teamwork, and adherence to procedural guidelines in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• Oil & gas experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment.
• Load/unload field trucks and/or third-party trucks; stock receiving.
• Clean and inspect rod pumps and oilfield equipment using solvents and API tools.
• Assemble and re-assemble rod pumps and oilfield equipment.
• General administrative duties: stock orders, computer use, answering phones.
• General shop duties: cleaning and housekeeping, waste removal.

Position Summary

The Pump Shop Technician I supports shop operations by assisting with the cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield equipment. This role ensures equipment is prepared safely and efficiently while supporting inventory, shipping, and general shop activities.

Basic Employee Responsibilities

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks

Required Minimum Qualifications
