Job summary

Q2 Artificial Lift Services is seeking a Pump Shop Technician I to support shop operations with cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield gear. You will assist inventory, shipping, and general shop activities to ensure safe and efficient equipment preparation.

The role requires physical work, forklift familiarity, and a valid driver’s license. Oil & Gas experience is a plus and Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Oil & Gas experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment.
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks.
• Stock receiving and inventory handling.
• Clean & inspect rod pumps & oilfield equipment.
• Assemble & re-assemble rod pumps & oilfield equipment.
• General Administrative Duties (stock orders, computer use, phones).
• General shop duties (cleaning, housekeeping).
• Travel for pump deliveries/pick-ups.
• Stand for up to 8 hours; operate in shop environment.

Position Summary

The Pump Shop Technician I supports shop operations by assisting with the cleaning, inspection, assembly, and handling of rod pumps and oilfield equipment. This role ensures equipment is prepared safely and efficiently while supporting inventory, shipping, and general shop activities.

Basic Employee Responsibilities

Position Specific Responsibilities

• Pick up & delivery of rod pumps and well-site equipment
• Load/Unload field trucks and/or 3rd party trucks

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 education.
